Littleton, Colorado seems much larger than it actually is because of it's wide-spread mailing address. Highlands Ranch residents can use a Littleton mailing address as can residents in the western portion of Centennial. Due to this fact, if you are considering moving to Littleton, be sure to specify to your realtor if you mean west or east Littleton because the city is informally split at Santa Fe road where downtown Littleton exist. Further west, Littleton technically turns into Ken Caryl Ranch (correctly pronounced "Carol" not "Carl") but the Littleton postal address is still commonly used. Littleton Colorado Map

The yellow highlighted area represents an approximate boundary line of Littleton. Santa Fe road and Broadway are a common routes for getting to downtown Denver and C-470 leads to I-25 and I-70.
