Sign of the times
I visited the sales office for The Streets at Southglenn this morning and posted on the door was a sign that read, "Closed".
Apparently, the developer of the residential portion of The Streets at Southglenn has decided that due to increased construction costs, the decline in rental vancancies, and the increase in rental rates, to change their business plan from selling condos to making them luxary for-rent apartments.
Don't believe the hype! Just a few weeks ago the rep at the sales office told me they were the hottest and fastest selling properties in Denver. Guess that wasn't the case after all.
